You know in Grease, the song ‘there are worse things I could do’, perfectly sums up Siena. She is an entertainer so she is not really seen as a person by the ton. She is instead in this weird position where she is scorned for being loose and admired for her ability to sing. And she would refuse to let anyone especially all these rich people see her hurt or upset!!
I like this take because Rizzo has always been my favorite character in Grease (IS ANYONE SURPRISED) and yeah, we definitely get the same vibe from the song and Siena in Bridgerton, of women being slut-shamed and not having their feelings considered when there are a lot of worse things they could be doing and their position has also been defined by society. Also agreed that Siena always keeps a façade and she would never let the people of the ton see her hurting or let them know their scorn got to her.
